Preddy Creek Animal Clinic - Our Staff

Sara is our Licensed Veterinary Technician and has a passion for cytology and dental cleanings! You will find Sara assisting our doctors during your pet's visit to the office and she also oversees the care for our hospitalized and surgical patients during their time here at the clinic.

When not at work Sara enjoys spending time with her family including her son Garland and working on craft projects. Sara's busy household also includes a cat, Professor Fluffenutter and her dog Bindi.

Heather is our client relations specialist and is typically the first one to greet you on the phone and when you come in for your appointment. With many years of experience working in the reception area of the veterinary industry Heather was a perfect addition to our team.

When away from the office Heather can be found tending to her sheep on the farm, hiking with her dogs and enjoying the outdoors. Heather's household includes her 3 dogs; Grover, Jess and Neil.

Elizabeth is another one of our dedicated Veterinary Assistants and you can find her helping our doctors and technician with patient treatments, diagnostics and care throughout the hospital. With over a decade of veterinary care experience she has a large amount of knowledge to share with all of our clients when questions arise.

When not at the clinic Elizabeth can be found hanging out with her Beagle Champ, her three cats and the family rabbit. Elizabeth is a talented baker and can often be found trying out new recipes or baking up a sweet treat to be shared.

Elise is the clinic Office Manager. She graduated from Delaware Valley College with a degree in Zoo Science. Born and raised in Earlysville, VA, Elise has come back to central Virginia to live. She interned at several zoos across the country including working with two elephants at Little Rock Zoo in Arkansas.

A passion for training animals from the mundane to the unconventional has led Elise to training a wide range of species including chickens, goats, sheep, horses, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, okapi, lizards, birds, cats and, of course, many dogs. Dogs started the training obsession and led her to the current hobby of dog agility. She actively competes with several dogs in dog agility and recently added a Kooikerhondje puppy to start training in agility.

When not at the agility field, Elise is usually out hiking with the three dogs she lives with or teaching them new tricks.

Hannah is one of our veterinary assistants and is another local Virginian. She has been involved in the veterinary industry for 7 years before coming to join the Preddy Creek Animal Clinic team.

Hannah's enjoys educating clients on patient care, helping with surgical procedures and utilizing her venipuncture skills.

Outside of work you can still find Hannah surrounded by animals on her family farm. Hannah and her fiance manage a cattle operation. They enjoy the company of their family pets as well which include Joey the cat, Maybelle the Bulldog and Waylon the Catahoula! When they can they enjoy trips and traveling to new places.

Pam is a part-time Veterinary Assistant who lives with a much loved menagerie. Pam helps keep the books straight and appointments running. When she's not helping at the clinic or working her full-time job she is at home knitting and enjoying her cats and dogs.
